Crossroads selling junk and wont stand behind their product

We know where you are coming from

.We have lots of issues as well, the sky lite in bathroom leaks all the time before you even turn the shower on,the whole trailer paint is fading as well on the front the slides we had UV protection done and it sure was a waste of money . When flushing the black tank it builds up pressure that ends up backing up in and onto the bathroom floor.

Our dealer will not replace the wet insulation above the bathroom ceiling and under the trailer where the tanks are is soaked and the tanks are falling out.

We were hoping this unit would get us through our retirement but now we aren't sure. I wish that this company would stand behind their work but it seems all they want is the all mighty dollar from selling junk.

We had the same issues. The paint fading is a manufacture defect as was repaired at no cost to us.

The company that jells the front cap didn't apply the correct mill thickness which created the paint to fade. We had a our skylight replaced and wall damaged by Cross Roads at no cost to us. Now we have water leaks in our bunkhouse and know can figure out where it's coming from.

No damaged on the wall, but the sub floor gave away. Camping World can't figure it out but they are bunch of %^&*.

I have a 2014 Sunset Trail 32FR. Beautiful unit except that the brown paint on the front cap is fading.

This is a huge issue that Crossroads is ignoring. Warranty is only good for one year. They used paint that didnt have UV protection and it breaks down. No fault of the consumer..

All CROSSROADS.

They will do nothing. DO NOT BUY CROSSROADS RV'S!!!!

Thanks for posting this complaint as I am now trying to get Crossroads to warranty my same problem.

Breaunna Gye

I also have the same faded front cap on my recently purchased 2014 crossroads 22 RB camper. I am in contact with crossroads waiting for a response.

I see many other complaints reguarding newer campers fading and looking old after only a few years. If anybody thinks this is not a big problem then take your high priced car and have it completely fade out after 1 to 3 years looking like a 30 year old car, now try to Sell it. Catch my drift. These campers cost 30 to 60 thousand dollars and up.

Big problem that the company has only addressed under litigation or long term harassment.

It should be warranted any car would be. Thx Scott.

This is now under litigation. 3 different dealers have been unable to resolve problems to my satisfaction.

This crossroads cruiser is actually a 2014 mod.

Original review May 15, 2015
Took delivery of my new 2013 Crossroads Cruiser in Feb 2015. Dealer had it for 6 working days for preparation before I picked it up. Started for a city 480 mile away for a doctor appointment. On the way I discovered 2 of the 3 slides did not work properly, kitchen faucet leaked and flooded the kitchen, and ran completely out the bottom of the camper. Water heater did not work on gas or electric. Also: Striker on range did not work. Light over kitchen counter did not work. Front door screen was not seated in groove. Bedroom door latch misaligned and would not stay closed. Staples were sticking up in the bedroom carpet. Closed door latch came off.I called the dealer and agreed to return 480 miles for repairs. Dealer agreed to attempt the repairs in one day. as I had no place to stay in the area. Returned to pick up the unit at 4:30. The living room slide was the same as before. The service mgr. said he had to order a kit in order to make the repairs. I had to return home to take care of some tax problems and the ser. mgr. said he would find a dealer in NM and have the kit sent there. On the way home I stayed in a campground and again discovered the faucet leaked into the floor and out the bottom of the unit. I finished the trip by turning on the water pump when necessary. The water heater worked on gas, but not electricity. The bedroom door still would not stay closed. I have major concerns about the floor under the kitchen sink rotting out. After many conversations with the dealer in Tx. and a tech rep from the home company, I delivered the unit to Rocky Mountain RV and Marine I Albq. NM. I was told by rocky mt rv that I would have to pay for the repairs and be reimbursed my Crossroads mfg. This later proved to be false. On Mar rocky mt called and said they were all finished except they had to replace the faucet , but did not have one. I told them I had to have the unit now. They took a faucet from another unit and installed it. On 3/24/25 I went to pick up the unit. The faucet would allow only a trickle of water. The slides worked better and most smaller items were satisfactory. As of this date some other problems have occurred and the 2 slides are again not seating properly. I have not had the opportunity to take for repairs, because I have had to make more trips to Doctor appointments out of town, which is why I need the camper available and working properly.

I really don't know where to start . We purchased a Sunset Cruise 2014 26 ft Travel Trailer in summer of 2013.

We have had nothing but trouble since and have been totally ignored by Crossroads ! Our slide came off the tracks after about our 5 th use. It ripped *** in our linoleum as it slid across the floor. That was repaired very shoddily and now the slide does not fit flush when closed.

We have been told it wasn't repaired properly. The whole in the linoleum was patched and is now lifting. The paint on the front is so oxidized it looks like it's 20 years old. I am disgusted at the lack of Customer service.

Our original Dealer went into Foreclosure and we were left without any service right in middle of our Warranty work being done. It has been a major nightmare to say the least !! My list of issues are endless , there are so many. If you are considering buying from Crossroads I would suggest you do your homework and research as much as you can.

This Company is the worst we have ever dealt with in our 20 + years of RV ing. The first and the last Crossroad RV for sure !! Don't buy from them !!

They do not have a good quality product. !

Do NOT BUY a Cross Roads Cruiser

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
My wife and I bought a 2014 Cross Roads Cruiser 5th wheel on January 29, 2014 and the frame did not meet the floor. So we had a soft floor through a great deal of the 5th wheel. It appears that the floor was just not wide enough to meet the frame or the frame was larger that what it was suppose to be. So Cross Roads RV decided to have the closet RV dealer that sells Cross Roads products look at the underside of the 5th wheel. The dealer (Caswell RV) did indeed say that the floor did not meet the frame. Cross Roads RV then had the selling dealer (Gillette Interstate RV) put 85 screws into the base floor. We were afraid to keep the unit, so we traded it back into Gillette Interstate rv.. So were screwed again!

Pick up took 5 hrs, so much wrong, and 2 months later, still not fixed

Started with pick up. The salesman never communicated with service department all that he promised us to make to sale complete. Day before P/U, I confirmed, was told by service manager all was good. Had to wait 5 hrs because of the unprofessional handleing of the sale to pick up. Walk through was a joke! I followed up with the owner via e mail, they pawned it off to the general manager, Gary Weber and he gave us $125 to spend in their store. I have a video for all the incomplete things when we got home as well as a complete list of broken major things upon our first outing. This is out of my character but I am so pissed!!

I complained to all the managers at Hitchorama thinking they will fix all....sadly mistaken.

I never wanted $ back or compensation...just do your job!! This is our 4th RV....and this expense was huge!! They ruined the euphoria we worked so hard to achieve.

THANK YOU Kelly McLaughlin hm 732-972-****

Crossroads Rv - Rv Review from Detroit, Michigan

I worked at crossroads.. Starting out with there is no training system for new employees. Many new employees needed but can't survive in a clicky environment. Reminded me of high school but just a lot more 25-40 year old felons.. The point I'm getting at is that I worked in PDI and was shown the percentages of units that were getting through the process that were junk.. I'm telling you Working in this department I've seen it all and I only worked there for 7 months. Very unprofessional staff in front office and in the plants.. I wouldn't spend 1,000$ for any unit with the name crossroads on it after I seen first hand how they are handled and built.. These workers came in to get paid.. No pride in craftsmenship.. Trust me if you want a nice unit DONT LOOK TWICE AT A CROSSROADS UNIT.. go anywhere else

2014 zinger 5th wheel wall panels came off in bedroom just driving it home. Dealer repaired many problems to numerous to mention. Contacted cross roads about problems but got nothing but a run around. Outside kitchen door was replaced because it was falling off. less than 6 months later moisture started bubbling the bottom of the new door, contacted dealer which put us in touch with crossroads. They stated that since the initial warranty had expired that it was not their problem. Hopefully people will read this post and not waste their money dealing with a company that doesn't care about their customers.

Floor does not meet the Frame

Bought a 2014 Cross Roads Cruiser Aire on January 28 2014 from Gillette Insterstate RV. Did not get the unit until May 0f 2014.

Problems popped up shortly after we started using the 5th wheel. A great deal of squeaking and squishy feeling in the floor. CrossRoads RV is blaming it on the company that made the frame. The dealer is still waiting for "parts" and it is almost the end of December in 2014.

None of the problems are covered under a "normal warranty". It appears we have a "Lemon" and it is starting to "Stink." So here we paid $37,000 for a unit that is not really viable. We are hoping there is a way to get our money back and let CrossRoads RV eat the cost.

A 5th wheel starts with the frame, a sub floor is put in and then everything else is built around that. We cannot figure out how CrossRoads can have Gillette Interstate fix this.

Cross Roads Hampton Park Model is built like ***

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I bought a 2012 Cross Roads Camper from a dealer. I bought it in August of 2013 closed it in October 2013 Re-opened it in May 2014 and it was soaked.

The seals leaked the master bedroom floor was soaked from the water coming in. I was upset to learn Cross Roads offers a 2 year warranty but only good for the first person who buys the camper. Cross Road did not offer any assistance in the repair of my camper. They offered nothing.

If you have a two year old camper, you would think there would be no issues. I will never buy a Cross Roads Camper again.

I did a lot of research before I bought a camper, found the Hampton 38 and it was great, WAS being the operative word If you have had similar experiences let me know. :nonono: stay away, buyer beware

If you buy a used camper then there should be no warranty unless stated.

Well crossroads, my camper was totaled. I am buying anorher camper and it will not any of your brands, that is for sure.

Happy camping to all who go, but remember this, your camper is only as good as the company thsy stands behind it. Crossroads, does not help anyone except themselves.

No aid, no assistance, no customer service. Good luck all.

We bought a 2014 Oct 2014 Sunset 32BH. The guy we bought from was not a CR dealer but told us we had a 1 year warranty(not true) the warranty does not transfer to 2nd owner.

Had water leak from bathroom to master bedroom. Had mold in bathroom, sink counter swelled up and apart. Called CR to find out the warranty did not transfer. Went back to where we bought from and they resealed camper and was going to get with CR for over 1 months, when I yelled at them and told them there is no warranty they held my camper hostage.

We are in court with them over repairs and storage they are now claiming. Took to CR dealer in Fort Myers from Fort Lauderdale to fix leaks and rotten flooring that the other was suppose to but didn't to only have to take back again a week later for the same leaks, and found out they did not take the rotten wood out they just put support wood underneath and we walk on soft mushy floors. Now a several months later our living room slide is stuck out and look like it is going to fall out of the living room.

CR product is a piece of ***. Never would buy again nor recommend.
